ABOUT CHICKABOOM STUDIOS
Like many great things in life, Chickaboom Studios started out as a necessity of invention. Our founder, singer/songwriter/producer Shari Archinoff wanted to put her music out into the world, but was struggling to find a producer that was able to capture what she was hearing in her head. So she decided to take matters into her own hands and self-produced her debut single “Girls Like Us!” that was released in March of 2022. Shortly after the release of “Girls Like Us!”, Shari began to receive inquiries from other artists about producing songs for them, and just like the Big Bang – or should we say, the big boom – all of the elements came together to create Chickaboom Studios!
The Chickaboom philosophy is that the music creation process should be fun and accessible to artists of every level. We believe that a producer’s job is to interpret the artist’s vision of a song and help bring it to life. What we’ve found is that so many artists struggle when it comes to expressing their vision, either because they don’t have an understanding of the production process or they simply lack the language to properly communicate what they want. So when you come to Chickaboom Studios, we include a pre-production session where we walk you through the whole process and create a clear plan of execution before we even start recording. We need you to feel empowered in this process so that you love the result. Your voice is what’s important. We’re just here to capture it.

About Shari
Shari Archinoff is a graduate of Toronto’s prestigious Harris Institute for the Arts in their producing/engineering program. She has continued her education with several additional courses focused on songwriting and producing. In her own career as an artist, Shari has almost 25 years of experience as a songwriter and a performer. Her passion for music has also led her to study several instruments, including guitar, bass, piano, ukulele and voice. Shari is extremely knowledgeable about all genres of music, with a special focus on pop and rock. Being an artist herself, she has a special insight into that perspective and understands the level of trust required in the artist-producer relationship.
